2024 Survey results

Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to our 2024 Multicultural Care Satisfaction Survey. At Multicultural Care, the people we support are at the heart of everything we do. That’s why our annual survey is so important!

In December 2024, we sent surveys in nine different languages to our consumers/participants to better understand how our services are supporting them. Here are the results.

What we learnt about our services and staff

  • 86% of respondents said the services they receive from Multicultural Care are “good”, “very good” or “excellent”.
  • 95% of respondents said our staff are kind and caring.
  • 96% of respondents felt staff were respectful.
  • 87% of respondents said they felt our staff knew what they were doing.
  • Over 80% said they felt involved in decisions around their assessments and care plans. The majority felt their preferences and choices were reflected in the services they received.
  • Care workers stood out as the most appreciated aspect of our service, followed by case managers and price.
  • 89% of respondents said they felt our services improve their quality of life.

What consumers/participants want

  • Almost half of respondents (47%) prefer to be contacted by phone to discuss their assessment.
  • 41% prefer to discuss their care plan by phone.
  • 83% feel the information provided by staff is easy to understand.

Thank you for responding!

Thank you again to those consumers/participants who responded to our survey. Hearing from our community is incredibly valuable. It helps us shape our services so they reflect the needs, cultures and preferences of the vibrant communities we serve.
