There’s a number of ways you can access and fund support services to help keep you in your home for longer.
In Australia, there are different aged care programs depending on how much help you need, your living situation and marital status, and what support you need right now. To receive government support you generally need to be over the age of 65 (50 for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people) and living in Australia.
Multicultural Care offers a complimentary service that helps you navigate the government Age Care funding services system.
Simply contact our Care Finder team and we will assign a language-appropriate Care Advisor to help find you the support services you need.
Multicultural Care Bilingual Support workers speak over 21 languages. They will support you at home or in the community one on one, or as part of a group.
Our Care goes beyond translation. We provide culturally safe care that protects your independence.
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to aged care especially in a multicultural society. We build and maintain respect for language, traditions, values, and individual preferences.
From assistance with daily living and personal care to social connection and wellbeing support, we work closely with individuals and their families to ensure care feels familiar, empowering, and genuinely supportive.
At the heart of Multicultural Care is a commitment to inclusion. We believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality aged care that honours who they are and where they come from. That’s why we prioritise culturally matched carers, multilingual communication, and flexible service delivery that adapts to each person’s needs.
By combining professional expertise with cultural understanding, Multicultural Care creates a care experience that goes beyond basic support. We foster connection, independence, and peace of mind for older Australians and their families.
